Our project manager position combines these different things!

Commercial

• You work out an offer based on the customer's needs and current situation. Clients rely heavily on your advice and expertise.
• You are always in close contact with customers to build a good relationship, with a view to long-term cooperation.
• Prospecting is (almost) not part of your duties because requests come in spontaneously.

Projects

• You will take care of another part of the project follow-up. However, the emphasis is on the commercial work. You may see the ratio of commercial work to project follow-up as 75% / 25%.
• Project follow-up and management are mainly done from the office, working closely with site supervisors on site.
• You can always count on your own site supervisors to manage the site.
• Projects have an average lead time of several days to several weeks. This provides a lot of variety and challenge. You will come into contact with a whole range of problem sets and can look for the best customized solution for each client.

Profile

• Master's degree in electrical engineering with initial experience in electrical engineering. Experience within fiber optic and data networks is a strong plus. The necessary training to acquire this knowledge can be provided.
• Willing to become an expert in the field of data and fiber optic networks, functioning as a point of contact to customers and to colleagues within the ATS Group.
• Commercial flair: Building good cooperation with customers and providing them with long-term technical advice, customer orientation, negotiation skills. But also project management with attention to organization and details.
